GATORS PREVAILED!

Wow, it sure has been awhile since I have posted and I apologize for that! I am super stoked that my Florida Gators won again this year in the NCAA goes to show that they are unbeatable in Football and in Basketball way to go Gators!
As you can tell i am pretty pumped about this championship for them. My favorite players on this team are Corey Brewer, Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Lee Humphrey, Taureen Green they are the best starting line up ever! Some of these pictures are from last year and some are from Monday night! Congrats to Bobby Porter on winning Kirk's pool way to cheer for Florida because i had a feeling they were going to win another championship this year and they did it!
So on to life itself its been so busy for me... I have been working night shift since the first of November. I do like stocking shevles all night but it gets tiring for sure at times and i had to accept the fact that i didn't have a life at all not even hanging out with my friends! Not really seeing my family either just at night before going to work and coming home in the morning before heading to bed for the day pretty much!
But in three weeks I will be free from this all because i am done the night shift at 7am on April 25th and then a week later i will be moving back down south to Georgia! Working at Hephzibah children's Home again this summer loooking forward to it! This is where my heart is and I need to stay down there for awhile and be the kids there at HCH and work at the local Wesleyan church.
Neways, that's a little update on my life for now and I will try my best to update more but i am more into the whole facebook right now its super addictive and I love every minute of it! Take care and hope to be a better blogger as time goes on.
Peace to all! Have a wonderful week and Happy Easter weekend!

Peace to the Children of the 70's!

If You Were A Little Girl In The '70'sYou had that Fisher Price Doctor's Kit with a stethoscope that actually worked.

You owned a bicycle with a banana seat and a plastic basket with flowers on it.

You learned to skate with actual skates (not roller blades) that had metal wheels.

You thought Gopher from Love Boat was cute (admit it!)

You had nightmares after watching Fantasy Island.

You had either a "bowl cut" or "pixie", not to mention the "Dorothy Hamill".
People sometimes thought you were a boy.

You had rubber boots for rainy days and Moon boots for snowy days.

YEAH! You owned a "Slip-n-Slide", on which you injured yourself on a sprinkler head more than once.

You owned "Klick-Klacks" and smacked yourself in the face more than once!

Your Holly Hobbie sleeping bag was your most prized possession.

You wore a poncho, gauchos, and knickers.

You spent hours in your backyard on your metal swing set with the trapeze.
The swing set tipped over at least once.

You had homemade ribb! on barrettes in every imaginable color. (Oh yeah!)

You had a pair of Doctor Scholl's sandals (the ones with hard sole & the buckle). You also had a pair of salt-water sandals.

You wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder really bad; you wore that Little House on the Prairie-inspired plaid, ruffle shirt with the high neck in at least one school picture; and you despised Nellie Oleson!

You wanted your first kiss to be at a roller rink!

PONG! ("video tennis" ) was the most remarkable futuristic game you've ever heard of!

You know who Strawberry Shortcake is, as well as her friends, Blueberry Muffin and Huckleberry Pie.

You carried a Muppets lunch box to school and it was metal, not plastic. With the thermos inside some were glass inside and broke the first time you dropped them.

You and your girlfriends would fight over which of the Dukes of Hazzard was your boyfriend.

YOU had Star Wars action figures, too!

It was a big event in your household each year when the "Wizard of Oz" would come on TV. Your mom would break out the popcorn and sleeping bags!

You tried to do lots of arts and crafts, like yarn and Popsicle-stick God's eyes, decoupage, or those weird potholders made on a plastic loom.

You wore friendship pins on your tennis shoes, or shoelaces with heart or rainbow designs.

oh those were the days and they were so awesome and memorable! Peace out!

RIsk Living

I discovered these quotes by people on a friend's poster at Hephizbah last summer!

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can. (Danny Kaye)

Progress always involves risks. You can't steal second base and keep your foot on first. (Frederick B. Wilcox)

Many great ideas have been lost because the people who had them could not stand being laughted at. (Author Unknown)

It is only in adventure that some people succeed in knowing themselves-in finding themselves. (Andre' Gide)

The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth. (Chinese Proverb)

If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. (Mario Andretti)

Life is the game that must be played. (Edwin Arlington Robinson)

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything. (Vincent van Gogh)

The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing. (Marcus Aurelius)

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room. (Jayne Howard)

I really liked this stuff its good to realize and know in regards to risky living! Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

SuperBowl Champs!

I am stoked that finally a team i cheer for in the Superbowl wins for once! Way to Peyton Manning and the Colts for winning the Superbowl that is super awesome. I am so happy for Peyton that he got his Ring plus being the MVP that is next to the greatest thing ever. My parents and I were the only ones going for the Colts in our basement as we were watching it with some other friends and family.

Everyone said that the Bears were going to win, but in my head i knew that if the Colts got this far that they were not going let their fans down at this point! The game was definitely different from all Superbowls due to the heavy rainfall and fumbles a lot and turovers made by both teams.

So once again I rejoice with the Indianapolis Colts for winning the 2007 Superbowl and especially Peyton Manning for getting MVP! Way to go Colts....

Peace
